Welcome to our blog. If you’re reading this, thanks for
stopping by. Mary and I started this blog as a forum to ply our trade. We both
enjoy writing and a blog is a place to practice. While practice can never make
perfect, it can improve a skill. We are both writers but very different in our
styles. Hopefully this blog will reflect and highlight those differences. The
title reflects how we see it developing. Topics may be theological, political, experiential,
practical or devotional. Posts may range from the deadly serious to the
seriously inane. We are two people on the road of life…complete with all its
bumps and blessings. We have traveled this road together for almost 32 years.
So as we embark on this blogging journey we welcome your comments, questions,
and smart remarks while never forgetting that getting there really is half the
fun!
I tried to post a comment on the blog about our allotted days. Because I apparently didn't know what a URL is, it wouldn't post. I remember saying that God had already given me 5,110 days more than my allotted time and wondering if they had been taken from somebody else's. A solemn thought. And if so, why? "Known only to God are His ways." How much of that time did I waste?
